The $1M month that TikTok stole
I did $957K in January and $1M was basically locked. Then TikTok had outages and froze my ads for three days at exactly the wrong time. Missed the number by a rounding error I didn't control. We went again.
Accounts killed mid-scale
I've had ad accounts flagged and shut down while they were printing, sometimes on ads that broke no rules. It happens enough that I run a whole fleet of accounts and wrote an entire unban playbook. The bans didn't stop me, they just taught me redundancy.
Going viral nearly broke me
One product hit and I woke up to 3,000+ orders stacked up overnight. That's the dream in the caption and a nightmare in the warehouse. My fulfillment team paid for that in overtime, and I learned the hard way to build the ops before the traffic, not after.
The unglamorous years
Before any screenshot, there were months of sliding into DMs and posting in organic Facebook groups with almost nothing to show. Modest capital, no mentor, no plan B, and a med-school schedule on top. The overnight success took about four years.
Cash flow scares
Scaling fast means money leaves before it arrives. I've watched profitable months nearly choke on payout holds and inventory bills landing before the sales cleared. Profit on a dashboard doesn't pay a supplier.
750 stores for everyone else first
I spent nearly two years building 750+ Shopify stores for other people on Fiverr before my own brands worked. It felt like a detour at the time. It was actually the tuition.
